After the Renegade mission by the crew of the starship Flying Dutchman, the UN Expeditionary Force thought Earth was safe for hundreds of years, at least.

After there was trouble on the home front and the president had to authorize a nuclear strike on an American city, UNEF decided they did need the Merry Band of Pirates again.

So, the Flying Dutchman is sent out on a simple recon mission. But for the pirates, nothing is ever simple, and their mission will become Armageddon.

Das 8. Buch aus der ExForce Reihe hat zum Schluss echt überrascht.
Die Bücher Serie fing sehr spannend an, ging über zu tollem Entertainment wurde dann aber doch recht repetitiv von der Geschichte und den Witzen her.

Das 8. Buch ist unerwarteter Weise sehr gelungen!

Wie immer genial gelesen von R.C. Bray hat die Geschichte echt unerwartete Wendungen genommen und an mehr tiefe gewonnen.

Absolute Empfehlung für alle SyFy Fans, und Newcomer zu dem Genre. Kurze, unterhaltsame Bücher, sehr schön vorgelesen.

Bin gespannt wie es weitergeht!

Ich liebe die gesamte Reihe der expeditionary force. Dieses Buch fand ich dabei besonders emotional an einigen Stellen, was mir zusätzlich sehr gefallen hat

Ein lang erwartetes Ereignis endlich mit zu erleben.

Mal wieder ein großartiger Teil dieser Serie. RC Bray ist der PERFEKTE Sprecher für dieses Buch.

Manche werden sagen, dass der Humor langsam aber sicher ausgewrungen ist - mir geht es nicht so.

But this book had some flaws, like too many Thing werde repeated over and over, sometimes without changing the wording.

It is very similar in style to the rest of the series. And that is not a bad thing. Get it of you like the series. You will not be disappointed :)

The series keeps entertaining me, it is pretty repetitive though. But trust the awesomeness, I guess..

Previous books were better. This starts to feel repetitive. The only real shocker moment is when alot of the crew dies. Otherwise. The Voice actor great as always. <:

This has become one of my true favorites of all the books I have listened to on Audible, it's not as serious as many I have enjoyed but it's so easy to listen too, and I look forward to the next chapters in the journey and adventures of the merry band of pirates.

I love this series, it's so much fun.
