Not sure if 15 books is the limit or Craig “had” to make it “end” prematurely but the story sure is far from over. I get it that our author is exhausted now and it really shows in the last book. Maybe take a breather now and continue some other time.
Lots of lose ends are still lose. Lot of characters unresolved. ChatGPT and a bunch of fans could probably pump out literal bucketloads of extra lore and story if allowed.

Fühlte sich an wie eine Episode von Discovery am Ende es fehlt irgendwo ein längerer Epilog Craig wurde faul am Ende

Thought the story had reached the end of…

After all those books it feels awkward not to have Skippy in my daily life anymore.
The overall universe contains so much more, how can this be the end?
But unfortunately I mean it as well literally. The story went on for so many books. If “lord of the rings” with it 3 books got almost 1 hr of “goodbye”, the actual end was a bit abrupt. I hope with “aftermath” they bring a top notch book that conclude all streams in a proper way. I mean Bishop did narrate it as kind of a life time journal?
Either it’s ended properly or story will do a deep dive into the extended universe (literally).

Overall I liked this book better than the last one. “Dread” for this book was unnecessary that Skippy loses his magnificence. He was great as ever.
