It never gets old. The narrative and R.C.s way of bringing the characters to live are awesome. Great humour, intense action and a great story.... can't wait until the next installment.

einerseits hatte ich mich auf einen Abschlussband gefreut nachdem die Serie jetzt doch recht lange lief und bisher kein Ende hatte. ich habe also diesen Abschlussband gelesen und dann plötzlich 30 Sekunden vor Schluss festzustellen oh das ist gar nicht das Ende. der Autor wird sich anstrengen müssen aus der verfahrenen Situation die er zurückgelassen hat noch irgendwelche Fortsetzungen zu schreiben. Das Buch wäre ein guter Abschluss gewesen, wenn man ein Deus ex Machina Abschluss Kapitel hinten dran gesetzt hätte.

The last book seemed rushed and unpolished. Like Craig just wanted to be done with the story. Also he seemed to have mixed writing styles, because part of that "last" Exfor book was written years ago and the other part was recent.
Than he took a brake from the whole series and that seems to have been a great idea.
This book is really well written and the story is fun and exciting.
I wouldn't say Craig is the best author in the world. Not even close. But what he lacks in quality her make up in sheer volume. This man is a breast, when it comes to delivering book after book. I was always entertained and always happy and excited when a new book arrived.
I'm such a fan I even bought some merch and I love it.

So overall: A great book!

I really enjoy this series and the stories about pirates and Skippy!
It was great to hear that the series continues and new sketchy stuff is about to happen. the story is ok and flowed somewhat slow at the beginning but I found the ending somewhat, well unexpected short. Hmm... still a good book and I had some good laughs and was curious how it would continue.

there was a lot of talk with Skippy the non magnificent, but the best is, the story will go on, hopefully forever .... looking forward to book 66

Im glad the journey keeps going on. I liked every book so far. R.C.Bray is just the best. In combination with these characters and and that humor you gotta love it.

Like what it feels like the last 3 books, its just 10% shit happens, 80% blabla and wrong guesses to end in an hour sprint… Honestly that formula isnt working for me anymore, there is no real development, no plot, no tension. i could just sleep after hour 2 - hour 17 and not miss anything of value. Id rather wait for 1-2 years and get a proper story rather a new book all 6 month.
Dialogues are funny tho and RC is as always splendid.

Way too many fillers with no real content for the book to peak in the last hour and end with cliffhanger
