… but the FMC was pretty annoying most of the time. The drama often felt unnecessary and made me think about quitting. However, the overall storyline made up for it and I needed to know how the story ends. So, besides the drama, it was a fun audiobook to listen to.

Intriguing story…

I am not opposed to smut in books, but this was so full if sex scenes that all felt the same that it began to be boring. I think the author tried to switch that up by including super unneccessary drama plots that had no real reason to be in the story and which were resolved after a couple of chapters. Also, the fights between the two main characters were often times very big and instead of me feeling the yearning for them to reunite, i felt like it was good for them to be apart. How often will Persephony doubt their relationship because he just does not talk to her, before leaving him? Those scenes just did not have the wished effect on me. Still the story is fast paced and mostly entertaining to read and the narrator is doing a great job. :)

The narration is super good. Voices sound unique and Meg Sylvan doesn't shy away to raise her voice and our her emotions into it when breathing live into the lines.

The performance and voice choices makes the listen almost unbearable.
To sum up the fmc feels like a petulant child
The story has so much potential but fails and having any depth by so many unnecessary sex scenes. You know there are to many when you feel like skipping them.

Also quite a few plot holes that are unresolved or just passed over to quickly

I was laughing, crying and angry at times. This book evoked every feeling in me. I want to start the next one right now!

The only thing better, than the story, was the reading voice!

The Story had everything!

Die Geschichte fängt ganz interessant an aber geht dann wie jede Young Adult Geschichte weiter. Langweilig und gleicher Sex.
Schade, dass nichts mehr der Fantasie überlassen wird.

Tatsächlich inhaltlich auch interessant. Die Charaktere sind nicht einfach nur gut oder böse. Toll, dass das Buch sich mit Themen auseinander gesetzt wird dir ein bisschen tiefer gehen, ich bin gespannt, ob das Dritte

The job of the readear is AMAZING

The main character is self-centered and unthankful. She keeps snapping at people who have done nothing wrong or even favoured her for no apparent reason. The overall story wasn’t bad but is it possible for her to be any hornier??? She and Hades Barely have any real conversations and instead they fck at least every second chapter. While some readers might like that I think it’s unnecessary and ruins the plot and any way to take her and hades seriously.

I love the first book and this one isn’t as bad either. Unfortunately, I kinda feel like the story was all over the place. A lot happened but everything was just somehow loosely connected. It felt like the author had great ideas for small plotlines or scenes or chapters but wasn’t really able to produce a whole body of work with a clear connected plotline.

Nevertheless, enjoyed it and maybe the next book will bring some clearance.

Narration was A+++ loved the unique voices and everything. Just loved it!!
