Ali Hazelwood is the best. This one is almost as good as the first book. But why let Teddy Hamilton perform the male character?
His voice and way of pronunciation and intonation makes any character sound like the biggest a** and made me stop listening to books before or even refrain from buying them at all. A.H. books are too good for qutting them, but still: another, more likeable and not that stupid sounding voice would have made this audio book even better.

I knew this was going to be one of my favorite listens of the year! But it totally blew my mind away, the build up, the chemistry and the banter was great. Plus the chats between Serena and Misery made me cackle

Overall, the book was rather mediocre. The story didn’t really captivate me – it feels somewhat drawn out and a bit lost at times. It’s as if the plot occasionally loses its focus, which makes the story less engaging. Compared to the first part, this one clearly falls short: the previous book was much more exciting and cohesive. It’s a shame, because the idea itself has potential but wasn’t well executed here.
Even my beloved narrator Teddy Hamilton couldn’t save the book this time.

Conclusion: An average sequel that unfortunately doesn’t live up to the quality of the first installment.
