With all the serious topics and a different kind of romance explored in the story Ali Hazelwood did a great job writing a layered sports romance, that’s a lot more than just a sports romance! It’s about family issues, friendship, connections, and more <3 I think it’s the most memorable book she’s ever written!

This is a truly beautiful story with well built and believable characters. Hazelwood just knows how to draw her readers in, even if the „kink“ she describes isn’t their thing. No cringe to be found. I wish there was more intelligent writing like this out there.
