Sarah J. Maas
Über diesen Titel
The sexy, action-packed first dramatized audiobook adaptation in the #1 New York Times bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from Sarah J. Maas. Adapted from the novel and produced with a full cast of actors, immersive sound effects and cinematic music!
When nineteen-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a terrifying creature arrives to demand retribution. Dragged to a treacherous magical land she knows about only from legends, Feyre discovers that her captor is not truly a beast, but one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled her world.
At least, he's not a beast all the time.
As she adapts to her new home, her feelings for the faerie, Tamlin, transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie she's been told about the beautiful, dangerous world of the Fae. But something is not right in the faerie lands. An ancient, wicked shadow is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it, or doom Tamlin-and his world-forever.
From bestselling author Sarah J. Maas comes a seductive, breathtaking series that blends romance, adventure, and faerie lore into an unforgettable listen.
Performed by Melody Muze, Anthony Palmini, Henry W. Kramer, Ann Flandermeyer, Gabriel Michael, Debi Tinsley, Natalie Van Sistine, Karenna Foley, Scott McCormick, Bradley Foster Smith, Karen Novack, Christopher Graybill, Terence Aselford, Matthew Bassett, Michael John Casey, Nora Achrati, Yasmin Tuazon, Alejandro Ruiz, Steve Wannall, and Shanta Parasuraman.

I love all the voice actors, very well done.
As for the story (SPOILERS):
24-28 Feyre is still in the spring court
29-31 she is at home with her family
32+33 she is at the spring court looking for Tamlin
34-36 under the mountain and first task
37-39 bargain with Rhysand (he‘s easily the most interesting person here, and in the whole story, love his chemisty with Feyre)
40+41 second task
42 first kiss with Rhysand
43 third task
44-46 Amarantha defeated. Feyre dying and becoming a High Fae, also that conversation with Rhysand (he‘s so perfect, also what was the look of pure shock at the end that he gave Feyre?!)
Graphic Audio of ACOTAR

I had been warned that Book 1 isn’t the strongest and that it gets better from Book 2 on. So I’ll give the second book a shot, but this time I’ll go with the English audiobook.
I started with the German audiobook, but I had a hard time with the narrator.
Then I switched to the audio drama, hoping the male voices would pull me in more. But once again, the female narrator just didn’t do it for me. Her whispery, overly dramatic tone felt strange and off-putting.
The background sounds didn’t help either. The music was too loud and overwhelming, more irritating than immersive. And the sound effects—like when characters moved or interacted—were often really poorly done, repetitive, and just annoying.
The story itself was okay—not terrible, but nothing that really grabbed me either. I had a hard time getting into the plot and connecting with the characters. Maybe the way it was produced played a part, but overall, it just didn’t click for me.
Not no sure

Second off, never trust book tok, because: what in the horrid dumpster fire was this? I have read and listened to a lot of crap (and I mean it) but this?
Freya might be the dumbest characters I have ever met. If she wasnt the main character nothing would have worked out for her realistically. Her whole character is a plot hole.
Tamlin has the weirdest taste in women. He fell for Freya? Makes no sense. a lot of him doesn't.
Elaine? *sigh*
Nesta? I dont understand why everyone hates her. Even if her and Elaines characters have flaws and the beginning makes no sense, she is the most worked out character for some reason. She was the only one who looked for her sister. And the only one not afraid to but a hand over her mouth. She listens to Freyas concern about Thomas.
Rhysand was a weird character but aside from Nesta he is the only bearable character in the book. Alright maybe Lucian is also bearable but everyone else have me a huge head ache and aggression problems.
I have never hated a book as much as this. (AND I HAVE READ POWERLESS among other horrible books.)
So, the three stars for the characters are only for Rhysand, Nesta and Lucian.
(PS: There is so much else I want to say, that I can't without spoiling anything.)
not only amaryntha ist having a head ache after i finished this book
