I have high expectations for every new part of this series because it is one of my favorites on here! It is easy to connect to the characters and the (on average) 9,5 h per pass by like it is nothing, because the story was until now, always capturing. However, this part is I didn't like because I didn't feel like there was a whole lot of "progress". The first 5h were fine, but then I started to wonder "Hopefully this audiobook won't be about this incident in the middle of nowhere." I mean, towards the end it got recognizable, that these developments could affect many things in this fantasy world, but the "way" until this moment was too long and felt somewhat uneventful. However, I listened to all former parts of this series and I was amazed by them, as well as by the sheer size of this series! This series has very complex, interesting and unique characters, to whom's behavior I could very much relate. I love that all main characters are NO pushovers, nothing annoys me more than great potential mixed with fragile minds.
