This book is the beginning of a new cycle and to me, it's a worthy new start, great fun to listen to and a compelling story.

The idea is great and the novel starts in the right pace. It slows down in the middle until the protagonist finally opens up on his capabilities, but this is a story worth following.

With the knowledge of the main Demon Accords series, this series feels just like home. My only problem is the main character. He lacks the charisma of the previous ensemble. Too mechanical, almost autistic overpowered just from the start.
