I do love this series. I have heard each and every one of these booksiltiple times.


This is a okay book in the series, but I have several problems with it.

The speaker of all male voices on all books was James Patrick Cronin and while the new speaker is really good, he's just not the voice I got used to over so many books.

The story is a logical conclusion and is an adequate culmination. Still, it feels forced.
In one of the first books, Chris explains that the Darkin often root for the bad guy, especially of the good guy is too dumb to live, as Lydia out it.
Here, all enemies are just that. Too dumb to live.

I would have expected more and I had desperately hoped for more. What I got was a mediocre book that doesn't do any of the main characters justice.

Dear John, please reconsider and give us an end to the series that is worth hearing again and again with a strong satisfaction and a sense of closure.

I've heard all books multiple times and to change the narrator for the last book is just cruel. It was disappointing to hear that a skillfully wrought story was brought to an end a little forceful and I feel like watching the last season of got again. Thank the author for a wonderful story I will listen to again and again, just maybe not his one
