I absolutely loved the first Book. But the second is a not as gripping and the spark is a bit missing but after half of the book it comes back. I also want to note that the author said this will be a series of approximately 5 Books and I have noticed that with series of 5-7 Books the 2. or 3. is always a bit weak. Nonetheless I can’t wait to see where this story goes and how it will end.

Nach der Hades&Persephone Reihe hatte ich zunächst befürchtet, so ziemlich das gleiche wieder zu hören. Aber tatsächlich unterscheiden sich die Charaktere und die Dynamik der Beziehung doch. Die Geschichte ist spannend und es gibt einige unerwartete Wendungen. Wer es blutig mag und rachsüchtig veranlagt ist, kommt hier auf seine Kosten. Die Sprecherin ist sehr angenehm, der Sprecher übertreibt etwas.

Leider ein sehr unbefriedigendes Ende, kein richtiger Spannungsbogen, ich würde da jetzt ein drittes Buch erwarten

Irgendwie entwickelt die Autorin keine interessanten Charaktere. Die Protagonisten bleiben oberflächlich und unsympathisch, Handlungen nicht nachvollziehbar. Ganze Episoden sind redundant. Das Worldbuilding ist nicht ausgefeilt. Ich musste abbrechen, so genervt war ich.
