Pro: As far as I can tell it is not the last book which we will see of this series. Overall it's a different story with a completely different Form of storytelling which I liked a lot tho.

Cons: The English Book is split in two books for all the German reading countries! Be careful about that. Nachtengel Nemesis & Gemini are ONE book in english. I thought it was the second volume and bought it...

A great follow up

If you came for a fourth book of the nightangle series then you’re at the wrong place. This book has the same characters but the story is totally different and I love it. I think the way he told it is quite brilliant. So if you loos the expectations and enjoy the experience you’ll love it. I really hope that he’ll write another book. I’d love to know how the story continues.

From "God Mode", to self pitying and annoying whiny little push around, in one book.

Don't know what problems the author is trying to compensate with his work here... but instead of ruining one of my favourite fantasy serieses, he maybe should have spend some time with a professional, to work through his crisis, before writing this dogs&*7.

I want back my ~30hrs...
The end is one of the most unsatisfactory disappointments I've ever read.

So where to start, I was so excited to read another book in this series after the first three, but just about everything went wrong, it's like the author has been replaced or something, everything that made the first three great is gone with this one, The narrator is totally wrong for this book and puts you to sleep, he sounds like an old fart and doesn't make any effort to sound like a young man.(who thought it was a good idea to have someone that sounds like he is a 100, narrate the voice of a young man that spends 90% of the book rambling to him self)
The story, if you can call it that, is 90% a voice rambling to him self about everything, all the time, and it gets old fast, he talks to the readers back and forth, half the time I can't tell if he is writing, recording something in a voice recorder or someone reading a book inside a book or whatever.
It's an effort to keep listening to it and I find my self drifting away and thinking about other things, having to refocus on it since it's so much rambling all the time.
Not sure who edited this book but that person should be fired! And whom ever thought Simon Vance was good pick for this book should join the editor and collect unemployment checks. If you have a book where the main character talking to him self 90% of the time it would be great if you pick a narrator that can voice the main characters age, if the book had been written without the rambling, Simon Vance, would have been a great pick but not when it's written in "first person view" talking to him self most of the time. I'm 8 hours in and I am 50/50 currently about returning it.
It shouldn't be this hard to listen to a book that you had such high hopes for!

To sum it up, I want the hours I wasted on this back, it's not something one would ever want to listen to again, it's just bad, what makes it even worse is I know the writer can write a good story but this isn't it!
Writer ended the 3rd book with the main character going "god mode", here he was just a self pity sex starved follow whatever any woman tells him to do if she has a nice figure stupid rambling fool that everyone pulls a fast one on. If you deleted 90% of it and added 10% good story it would have been an ok story,
Now it's just a waste of time.

Was für eine unfassbare Grütze dieser Teil geworden ist. Einfach alles was ich an den ersten Teilen liebe, fehlt in diesem hier föllig. Dafür bekommen wir einen zum absoluten Amateur reduzierten Kylar, der jeder Frau am Rockzipfel hängt, die nicht bei drei aufm Baum ist. Ich habe so lange und sehnsüchtig auf diesen Teil gewartet. Einer meiner lieblings Autoren setzt eine meiner lieblings Geschichten fort. Und dann bekommt man soetwas vorgesetzt. Ich bin einfach nur maßlos enttäuscht.
