Ein Buch mit ungewöhnlichen Einblicken in die orientalische Welt. 1591 wird ein Miniaturenmaler getötet und beginnt von seinem Mörder zu erzählen und allen Verwicklungen, die zu seiner Ermordung geführt haben. Bis zum Schluss bleibt die Geschichte geheimnisvoll. Orhan Pamuk ist nicht umsonst Nobelpreisträger. Ein eindrucksvoller Mann, ein eindrucksvolles Buch. Der Leser John Lee ist ein großer Favorit von mir, seit ich Birds without Wings von ihm gesen, gehört habe. Ein prefekte Kombination.
