Pachinko hat mich tief bewegt – eine wunderschöne, zugleich traurige Geschichte über Familie und Widerstandskraft, und ich wusste vorher nichts über die Japan–Korea-Konflikte dieser Zeit.

I had some expectations being a New York Time bestseller. But the book was far better then expected. I heard the speaker for the first time and I will look out for more books she has read.
