Very pleasently surprised!
Wow, never expected to love this book and the whole Duology as much. After I had finished the Alina Starkov trilogy I was hesitant to read more out of fear that it would somehow ruin my perception of this world but damn, it did the very opposite. I actually found all of these characters much more enjoyable than Alina. The jumping perspectives really give the reader a full and facetted understanding of the world and the characters and I ended up loving all of them. Every character feels real and different from the rest and the plot was fast-paced and a great read. All the narrators also did a great job. Thanks Leigh!

Tolle Geschichte
Tolles character-building. Man kann sich nach einer gewissen Zeit gar nicht entscheiden, wen man am besten findet, was ich für ein gutes Zeichen halte.

Großartiges Werk
Eine Heist Story der Extraklasse mit spannenden Stimmen und außergewöhnlichen Charakteren. Auch ohne die Bücher rund um Alina Starkov und das Grishaverse zu kennen, macht der Plot Spaß!

Great Story.
A really well written story with nice world building. There was no down time what so ever and the author does a great job of keeping the reader (listener) engaged. The production was pretty strange in that the narrator changed for each chapter. So it was necessary to constantly readjust to the new voice actor's presentation of a character. Not sure why that decision was made.

I just Love it!
I am totally obsessed with this (audio)book. At first I was really sceptical cause most of the time I am not really a fan of multiple POVs especially with that many characters but now this really is one of my favourite books. It has a bit of a slow start but the pace does pick up. To be honest the multiple speakers confused me for quiet some time because I've never had that in an audio book but I got used to it and feel like overall the voices suit the characters very well.

Incredible!
This story is the best and strongest character building I have ever read. A story lives and dies with its characters and there are so very few truly goods out there. None of them is better than this, though. This was truly worth it. The readers are as amazing as the story itself.

Very detailed characters and relationships
Although there are several main characters, all of them are detailed and with good backgroundstories. A bit difficult to understand in some parts for a non-native speaker but the story is great! I also really like the voices of the speakers. The changing speakers for the different characters are an interesting idea.
