Armageddon Day. That is how history will remember the date when two Overlords clashed amidst the war-torn streets of New Whitehall. The disastrous duel its explosive conclusion wreaked heavy casualties on the two armies present, rendering both the Ishigar Republic and the Lodrak Empire unable to continue to fight. And yet, it was no stalemate. With one Hero defeated and another revealed, the balance of power is sure to shift in the elvish nation’s favor. The Republic’s leaders will surely not hesitate to seize this opportunity, as they had already paid for it in blood and gold. Meanwhile the Lodrak Empire is gripped by unease overnight as their Goddess mysteriously falls silent.
Boxxy doesn’t care about any of that at the moment. Mostly because the confrontation with Teresa has left it in a comatose state at a most inopportune time. With the Hero status of its public persona revealed, it will be forced to rapidly adapt and escalate its plans. Whereas before it only had to worry about keeping its true identity a secret, it will now have to worry about its alter ego being targeted. Each chosen of the divines is a controversial figure, and the suddenly revealed Hero of Chaos will surely attract a lot of attention.
And, as the shapeshifter’s primal instincts are well aware, too much attention can and will lead to a surprise meeting with Death itself.

Just plain fun
It is one of the most fun audiobook that I have ever listened to.

einfach zu gut
Die Geschichte ist wie immer sehr genial und vollkommen unvorhersehbar. Und die Sprecher machen das ganze zu einem echten Erlebnis.

Holy forking sh*t,
by Satan's left n*pplehole, this genious abomination of ingenuity is worth every cent. I can't stress enough how much I've enjoyed this eBook. It surprises you, it engages you, it makes you feel bad for a literal Monster it makes you want more and more until you realise you just purchased the whole series and spent every second you can, listening to it. I forking love this series, so PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, RELEASE THE NEXT ONE!!!!!

So disappointing and annoying
This was probably the worst way the author could've engineered the death of Boxxy. Nothing in that fight felt anywhere near the way how Boxxy would've fought, from not ambushing his opponent to not having secondary and even tertiary plans to not having all his minions in vicinity for eventualities and then fighting on even after realising how dangerous the opponent is.
And then to make everything even more annoying we have chapters upon chapters of listening to mentally unstable ppl having breakdowns, making assumptions and in one special case having their own mental instability healed by the 2nd voice in their head with a few sentences. This miraculous self healing made me especially angry firstly because in my opinion that didn't make any sense for her character and secondly I find it quite insulting how easy it was for her to figuratively shed her mental problems without any trouble as if it was never there.
I have absolutely no problem with Boxxy dying, that was pretty much a given from the title, but this was a huge disappointment and I don't consider this part of the series to be legit.

Getting pretty boring
The outrageousness of the whole concept fails to shock anymore. Unfortunately what remains is not interesting enough to stand on its own. Everything that serves the plot is due to "randomness" or "unlikely odds".
It's not bad mind you but getting there.
