The story is quite good. The voice actor needs a bit more training, but if you slow down the audio speed to 90%, it will be the right pace.

The MC is actually smart, the magic system is solid and well thought out and the interactions with the side characters, who have a lot of depth and charakter, play out well and in intriguing ways.
Can't wait for the next part!

Great World - Great Charakters

richtig gut Mk ist nicht überwältigend stark kommt aber langsam zurück die Kreaturen und hoffentlich Neugründung des Imperiums in der stadt hoffe ich wirklich schnell zu erleben.

So first the story. Its nothing new and inventive but that does not mean its bad. Not really more to tell because nothing stands out much other than that the MC is NOT OP, he is better than the majority of the "wizards" he encounters so far but nothing extreme. I expect that to change in later books, just because of how his magic works.
Second come the VA´s, the male part is really good and easy to understand. The Female VA is ok i guess, she does not speak bad or anything, sadly most of the female characters sound the same just with a little higher or lower tone of voice.
Third come the Accents ! And man are there accents in the book, sometimes it is rather hard to understand the characters.
I know that accents make a huge difference in setting the theme and such but it should be toned down to a degree where i don't have to ask myself what the VA just said.

All in all i would give the Audiobook 3,5 Stars but i cant so its 4
