I am so disappointed with the speaker for the story called the life cycle of software objects! whilst the story has great emotional potential, the speaker flattens it completely. it feels like a lacking tool has been used to generate the voice.

For those with active imaginations, these short stories will leave you wanting more. If you’re ok with cliff hangers, this book of short stories is still highly enjoyable. The ideals in the stories had me pondering for hours and imagining my own endings and stories. Wish I could read more of them.

I bought this book based on the good reviews it received. Frankly though, I cannot share them.
Most of these stories aren't actually stories; they are premises for stories. Most don't have a real storyline. They're just elaborately written out sci-fi ideas with a lot of potential, but without any plot beyond the anecdotal. I found that pretty tiresome and ended up fast-forwarding to the next one only to find that it was just as skeletal as the one before.

Just a premise doesn't make a story.
