He never overacts. It is if he is aware that he does not have to overact, and that doing so would be hokey. I wish more voice actors would take a note from this.

Though the story is not one of Kings best in my opinion, it is still very enjoyable. I watched the movie with Ron Perlman first so i had a good idea what was going to happen. And if you have watched the movie you will most likely not be surprised by much of the story. But the reading by King himself is great treat. You feel like the story is read the way it was supposed to be. Even if that sounds a little silly. Great fun.

After a good start, the story just gets absurdly creepy and kind of boring. I quit after two thirds.
