Als Deutscher ist die Aussprache von „rumple stilzken“ fast schmerzhaft, das trübt die Gesamtleistung allerdings nicht!
Super Story - armes Rumpelstilzchen

Ich bin kein Fan von Horror und habe deshalb wenig von Stephen King gelesen, aber er ist ein unglaublich guter Schriftsteller und sprachlich einfach erste Sahne. Und obwohl Fairy Tale Horror - Elemente enthält, sind sie nicht schlimmer als die in den Original Grimm Märchen. Auf diese und andere Märchen und Mythen verweist King auch immer wieder und spielt auch mit Stereotypen, wie dem Prinzen, der die Prinzessin und ihr Reich vor dem Bösen retten muss, aber eben auf sehr erwachsene und düstere Weise. Sein "Böses" könnte direkt einer Erzählung von H. P. Lovecraft entschtiegen sein, und der hat immerhin schon dazu beigetragen, dass das Alien aus den Filmen so creepy ist wie es ist.
Der Sprecher ist außerdem absolut genial, egal ob er Hundebellen nachahmt, die grauen Leute mit ihren verzerrten Mündern oder die taube Claudia sprechen lässt - es passt einfach. Ein einziger Kritikpunkt mag für manche die lange Phase vor dem eigentlichen Abenteuer sein, aber wie gesagt, Kings Sprache ist totaler Genuss und man sollte sie deshalb genießen.
