Dreamcatcher hat mich 2001 begeistert.. und tut es heute noch
Es ist NICHT Kings bestes Buch, das macht mir aber gar nix.
ich mag an King eigentlich, dass er immer ein bisschen Hoffnung in all der Hoffnungslosigkeit aufkeimen lässt.
Viele Sterben, aber das "Endziel" wird nicht erreicht.
Ich finde diese vielen unterschiedlichen Charaktere so toll gezeichnet. Auch eine seiner herausragenden Fähigkeiten, die Pro- und Antagonisten derart plastisch zu zeichnen.
Über den Sprecher kann ich gerade nix sagen, ist schon ne Weile her.
Da er mir aber nicht auf den Geist gegangen ist und ich das Buch schon mehrfach gehört habe, ist er gut genug um ein Buch vorlesen zu können.

I really love the story but I may have to listen like 10 times till I get the story completely. I've read this book as a kid. it's awesome but as audiobook? this narrator sounds he's mumbling in a beard. it's REALLY hard to understand. I do not recommend.

Tolle Geschichte, ebenso großartige, lebendige, vielseitige Erzählerstimme! Ich habe Bilder und Geräusche im Kopf, ohne eine Verfilmung geschaut zu haben!

Great performance! You can SEE the characters through the voice of the person reading the story. I saw the movie several times, and wanted to know how different is the book. Well: very! The first part not, but then quite different and to my taste also a bit too disgusting, I mean it's a horror, but there are pointless, unnecessary disgusting details. This is what I never liked about King.
So it was an okay book, bacon sandwich, SSDD and all, but was enough from King for the next 5-6 years for me.
