Leider hat der Autor hier einen absoluten Mist zusammengeschrieben..
1. MC war beim Militär, hat aber absolut kein taktisches Verständnis im Kampf, trifft dumme Entscheidungen und nutzt erst sinnlose Waffen, träumt vor sich hin und rennt wie ein Meathead immer und überall rein.
2. Durch seine Upgrades müsste er eigentlich intelligenter sein als ein durchschnittlicher Mensch.. doch leider handelt und denkt er wie ein Killerhobo, der nur Sex und Töten im Kopf hat.
3. Alles sehr widersprüchlich, denn er will ja gegen die beiden großen, bösen, mächtigen Fraktionen kämpfen - überlebt alles nur durch Glück oder eine Fähigkeit und handelt wie ein Vollpfosten. Außerdem will er die Welt retten, schafft er aber nicht mal seine nächsten Tage zu planen, so dass man ihm, wie bei einem Kleinkind, jeden Mist erklären muss und an die Hand nehmen MUSS.
4. Langes Hörbuch mit 31h, doch leider stagnierender Inhalt, überdetailierte nutzlose Informationen, wenig logische oder gar unlogische Handlungen des MC, damit der Autor noch mehr Mist einbauen kann.
Fazit: Sehr ärgerlich, viel Potenzial.
Frage an den Autoren: Warum?? Warum???
Der Autor hat nun schon einige Bücher geschrieben, macht aber immer wieder die gleichen Fehler.. bitte lerne dazu und orientiere dich an shirtaloon oder Thefirstdefier. Die schaffen Stories mit einem MC der sich entwickelt, gute Inhalte und Progress.

In this one the author has seemingly no idea how to progress. The MC has no more real threats or plans so „safing the Planet it is“. Shouldnt take long with the tec he has.
But every time he would jump forward in the progression, one of his companions comes up and tells hom he cant do that. Killing vampires and lycans is ok, because apperantly they have no feelings, but human trafficers and killers are not fair game. They have feelings too.
With all the tec and nano machines, hacking into mega servers, sattelites and other bs, he is still unable to fly a plane, or steer a boat.
Most people also claim, he should be able to so tactical thinking in battle because he was in the Army. I was there too. You dont learn that there, except you are in one of the few really special forces. Which he wasnt. So dont get frisk on that.
At the beginning the story wasnt good, and every time he could progress faster some other things come up, like hippies in the jungle, or dryads who are essentially useless to the story. Same with the urkling, who just gave him some quests, which he would become eventually on his own.
Every time something like this happens i get angry at the author. The MC gets angry too, but then some women comes and says no you dont get to be angry and he stops. Cause its actually ok to not be yourself and just kill the ones you are told, have sex with the one you are told, and just dont get on with your own plans and ideas, because everyone has better ideas. Except the other party is one of demigods and the humans in the MCs team think they are.
So anger management for the audience.
Narrators are awesome.
Dont recommend it. 1/10

But book 2 just empowered the mc passively in the first few chapters on god lvl and he pretty much can rival anyone. I mean the mc is way to much of a "good guy". Mission saving the world. No real continuation of the first book besides the names.
Also the backlote that was introduced was pretty weak.
Well my personal opinion don't waste 30 hours of your life on this.

All good ideas come from his allies while he does irrational stuff that someone else then has to correct.
Then we have the fighting, I already was quite annoyd with that part of the story in the 1st book because they never really thought and used all the possibilities instead he uses a punch dagger....really. But now it's even worse, it's as if he never learned about tactical thinking when he was in the army, he repeatedly doesn't attack his opponents fast enough or decisive enough to take them out before they can do harm, instead he likes showing off absolutely ineffective weapons that may look cool but are pretty much the worst choice in these situations, like claws against an enemy with paralytic acid as a weapons.
It's blatant that the author wanted the protagonist to be this cool terminator/angel-thing but instead it makes the protagonist look dumb when he deliberately doesn't kill the ppl shooting at him while he tries to safe a civillian because everybody could see from miles away that the civilian would get shot because of that.
This is just disappointing
