But Steve isn't the average guy, he's ex-military, ex-enforcer and ex-human. He's a one man nanite fuelled nightmare for those that cross the line, and he's decided that its time to clean up his act. He's going to make up for the things he's done, and save 'the little guys'.

It's a nice fantasy, but even he has to admit, it's really just a justification, because he's a very bad man, with horrifying abilities, and he's only just learning what he's capable of. He needs a reason to not go to the dark, and if that's hunting down the creatures of the night and beating them to death with their own femurs: well, he's just the man for the job.

This book surpassed all my expectations. I can’t wait for the second book! Great writing and amazing audio. I loved every minute of it !

I was skeptical but Wow. I mean it is a whole new perspective for the myths in such Storys.

The beginning is a bit slow but it is definitely worth a listen. If you like a more modern lit-rpg it's great even if the stat part is not in the focus like in other books.

Absolute blast

I really liked the first 85% of the book. Typical Jez anti-hero and novel concept for a Litrpg system. Also great setting and nice idea to tie the story into a minoan setting, bringing in lots of mythology. Thx a lot for that.

But it completely goes downhill in the last section when the protagonist is captured.
Hope the next book is bringing back the feelings from the start.

Definitiv eine Empfehlung wert.
Der Aufbau der Story ist gut geschrieben und sehr spannend. Der MC ist ebenfalls ein tatsächlich intelligenter Protagonist, nicht wie in anderen Büchern. Durch fehlende sinnlose Wiederholungen und viel Entwicklung in der Story, passiert echt viel.
Ich freue mich auf die nächsten Teile.
