This is the most lore-heavy entry in the series in my reading so far - and especially at the end it could have used a little bit more action in my opinion. Nevertheless, it's a very good book: The relationship in the triangle of main characters is very well structured and progresses nicely. And also the narrator lays out one of the best performances I have ever heard.

Narrated very beautifully by Peter Kenny. The great start of the Witcher novels after "the last wish" and "the sword of destiny" short story collections. A must for Witcher fans!

Even after the third time listening, it still amazes me how well writen this book and how well produced the audiobook is.

I could not recommend this title more.

Great audiobook. Audio is not totally perfect but a single narrator can only change his voice so much. The story has great worldbuilfing, but the end feels a bit abrupt

Story is great, performance is great. The only problem was that the actor read the book way too fast. Slowing down the playback to 0.8x fixed the problem.

A very good story, here any there a little long-winded but still interesting, thanks to the reading style of Peter Kenny and his various voices.
The authors style of storytelling especially by making the reader or the audience remember through the character was refreshing.

I liked the audiobook a lot, especially the reader, only some parts where a bit confusing. Although I did not understand right what was happening in which part, I could not stop listening. I had also watched the serie before, wich I can only recommend.
