I mean, all I have to do is learn how to navigate xianxia politics and train for battle while simultaneously running my farm and uncovering an ancient cataclysm that apparently destroyed the Azure Hills back in the day.
Meanwhile, I'm about to be a father . . . Man, I'm kinda screwed, aren't I? At least I can call in the cavalry—ahem, poultry—to help.

Not much happening
Not the best book of them all, no real antagonist, just some background. Still, wholesome as always

still one of the best listens in recent years
This series has solidified its stance in my top three over the past releases. I was weary of the tournament in book three and got something far better than expected/ feared. book four has a lot of setup for book five, leaving me in the same spor I was before book three. let's see where we end up this time.
the story itself is still a joy to listen to. Nice humour, entertaining story and an impressive performance by Travis Baldree.
Hopefully book 5 arrives soon.

Great Books
Just as good as all the previous books. It is amusing and relaxing stories. you can feel along with the characters and it is as well nerraded as it is written. Thank you for an other amazing book!

Relaxing Story, as good as the previous ones
listening to these stories is like meditation. I can't wait for the next book after the cliffhanger 🙂

good, but the worst book of the series
feels like a filler, many repeating things. it was a bit annoying. thats the reason for only 4 stars.

Marvelous concept, once again written in brilliant style and brought to live by wonderful narration
A relaxing story, filled with excitement. The core is a joyfull slice of life farming life, a safe home to return to after the adventure is over. I love it.

the book is more tranquil but paints the setting for the next ones in a wonderful manner!
i really enjoyed the book as it closes loose ends so that a next chapter can begin. it does so in a calm, relaxing but still interesting way. i cant wait for book 5! :)

Sad sad sad
I really loved the first books, but this one killed me. I simply could not continue about half way through it. it's boring, meaningless meandering stuff... perhaps it will get better, but I won't know. the most exciting part is to keep the 60 characters with almost the same sounding names apart. and wit exciting, I mean excruciating. the author has lost it somewhere.

What the absolute frack?
I cannot believe the other ratings. First book great. Second somewhat boring but ok. Third book very good. This one? I don’t even want to call it a book. It resembles more the diary of an actual farmer sprinkled with some fairy dust but without any - ANY - actual story line. It’s what a in an actual book would be covered in a sentence, or ten. What the hell?
