After her near-fatal journey into the Descent, Ilea returns south to check on her allies and lay some groundwork for unlocking her elusive third Class.
Trian is ready to start training the first generation of Medic Sentinels, the battle-healers of their newly founded organization, and Ilea is happy to join in as a teacher (of sorts). Hopefully, her work will pay off in the birth of at least a few mini-versions of herself.
By day, Ilea teaches the Sentinels her way of fighting and training (resistances), and by night, she applies the principles to herself. She explores supposedly very dangerous dungeons in the south and exposes herself to all manner of magics and traps, as every increased skill and resistance will help prepare her for the coming of her third class.
It is a good routine; as long as she has mana to heal, the numbers will go up.
However, all good grinding sessions must come to an end, the invitation of a powerful order soon pulls her back into the conflicts of humanity and beyond. With new powers and allies, she flies into a kingdom on the losing side of a war and finds things are not quite as they seem...
Perhaps punching a lot of things really hard will once again prove to be a viable solution.

Literature's most violent cinnamon roll strikes again
Personally, I'm not a big fan of the fight scenes, which does detract slightly from my enjoyment, seeing how they are frequent, and lengthy, which is probably why I'm a bit tired of them. Despite that, I love it.
If you've read the other books, this is more of the same, which is great, because the other books are just as good. Engaging narration, fun characters, and a steadily advancing protagonist. By now, you know the drill.

worth it
Ein weiteres mega Buch der Reihe. Habe die Geschichte genossen, auch die Umsetzung im Hörbuch ist mega geworden. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Teil

great contiunation
i tealy loved the dynamics, way better than her being alone all the time punching knights like the books two books prior

Love this serie more with each book
This became my comfort Listen, really enjoyed it. There are high stakes but at the Same time the Pressung on the MC is not to high and the side characters have depth. :)

less DING, but still to much
I love Ilyas overall Story, her perspective and her approach to life and adventure in Elos. what I am annoyed with is that this series can't be used for a relaxing listening experience. because of the DING - a high pitched irritating Noise that makes me tens and anxious - it's unavoidable. I was so happy that the first 7 hours of this audio had only a few of the DING noises in it. Aside from hurting (don't dare to fall asleep to a fine stor...DING) it doesn't make sense as Message read later also seem to DING when open (It's like hearing your phone ring while listening to voicemail).
I just can't wrap my head around the DING and who found it to be a good Idea on an Audiobook. Tense Traffic Situation while listening DING, Trying to fall asleep DING, Learning about MCs new DING Powers. I am devastated how much this "hurts" actually hurts in pitch and volume. 😭
