I mainly fall into line with Stephanie who wrapped up the whole thing pretty good.
The characters aren't thought through, act as if in their 40s and yet are told to be in their 20s.
Wayne Mitchell, the male narrator, usually one hell of a narrator, kind of "overacts" which makes it hard to delve into the story.
The female narrator is absolutely amazing and a pleasure to listen to.
The book's no love story, however. I'd not recommend it.

Strange storyline

I had trouble staying with this book. The male protagonist's behavior is disrespectful and toxic while the female protagonist is a pushover. It starts out like a typical romance but then starts to become more and more absurd and unrealistic. The character's choices and actions do not make sense to me. All in all the story just irked me in a very bad way. It's a personal opinion but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for an easygoing and enjoyable romance.
The male speaker starts out sounding drunk during the first chapter immitating a "young" voice I guess. It gets better though and overall the speakers are nice to listen to.
