Eins vorab: die Sprecher sind gut.
Aber die Story von einer geerdeten jungen Frau, die sich immer und immer wieder von dem Star benutzen lässt, zieht sich gewaltig in die Länge.
Ich musste deshalb ab Kapitel 20 skippen und bin erst in Kapitel 30 wieder eingestiegen. Dank Rückblick und Epilog habe ich dennoch nichts verpasst.

I honestly needed a little into the book before I started liking it, but then I was hooked. I knew the voices from other audio books and enjoyed their performances for all male and female characters. The story is, of course, following a typical rock star bad boy trope, but I liked how the female main character was tough and, even though mostly inexperienced, at least not a virgin. I really liked following their developing relationship.

Definitely worth reading/listening to. I had a great time. Many passages are witty and other are emotional. Thanks to Shen's descriptive writing, and to the narrators' great performance, I could picture every situation, laugh with the carachters and feel their sorrows. I can only recommend it.

The story was amazing! The performance underlined it to sort of sweet and deliciously slow burn. I enjoyed every second of this book.
I guess when I say I could not stop to listening...that says it all.
