Über diesen Titel

Once upon a time, a girl found a magical puppy, and her life was never the same again.

Nina Popoca needs help.

So, so much of it.

The only place she can find that help is on a sprawling ranch in Colorado. A place hiding more than a community filled with magical creatures trying to live their lives in safety and in peace. A village that might hold the answers to questions she’s had her entire life.

And if that ranch is owned by her best friend’s hunky cousin?

There are worse things in the world than having to live right by Henri Blackrock.

Love the narrators and story. One of my fave books by this author, which is high praise because I love them all

Beautiful, cozy and heartfelt

I am in the half of the book and considering dropping it. I love books from Mariana Zapata, but this one is just a miss from her. Female narrator was amazing, male voice just wasn't it for me, but it might be my personal preference. Male lead is emotionaly constipated and can't communicate, female lead is exceptionally naive towards his advances, I know it is usual tropenin MZ books, but it somehow lacks the realistic aspect of how people normally react here. I also hated how the main female character loves her puppy as if it was a human baby and treats it that way, because it is not the same. You can love your puppy, but saying things like: Even his little farts were adorable, ignoring the smell. Like what? I am really disappointed, because i was looking forward to this book so much and marked the release date into my calendar. I would rather recommend other MZ books like All Rhodes lead here, The wall of Winnipeg or From Lukov with love.

Annoying main characters, rare miss from Zapata
