I listened to the Son of the Slob first and have already left a review expressing how both disturbed astounded I was by the book and that the very next thing I would do is download and listen to the Slob. I thought that since the length was half it couldn't be that bad... Boy I was wrong. This book had me just as nauseous as the second and squirming in my seat. Fantastic storytelling, grisly details and amazing character development - plus amazing ending. If you like intense and traumatizing audiobooks this two part series is for you. I love that I didn't miss any storyline in the second book - in fact it made it so much more intense knowing what happens in the second one after listening to it first.
