Es ist ein verspätetes, unerwartetes Geschenk an alle Fans von King und Frank Muller: Ganze acht Jahre nach Mullers tragischem Tod wurde seine spektakuläre Vertonung von "The Regulators" neu aufgelegt. Das Hörbuch ist Muller in seiner bekannten (und schmerzlich vermissten!) Genialität: Wie immer lebt er King, einmal mehr zeigt Muller, dass er der perfekte King-Leser ist, dem es wie keinem zweiten gelingt, den schwarzen Humor des Meisters einzufangen. Schon den Anfang liest er in einer mitreißenden, atemberaubenden Intensität, die den Sommer ebenso heraufbeschwört wie die urplötzlich aufziehenden Power Wagons - danach ist der Leser in Taks Welt verloren.

Auch wenn es nicht Stephen Kings bestes Buch ist, hat es mir dennoch viel Vergnügen bereitetr zuzuhören. Es ist besonders zu empfehlen es vor oder nach Desperation zu hören.

Although I have read and heard many of Stephen King's novels this one I don't like. To much blood with unnecessary details without any reason, ghosts and visions that are appearing out of nothing and shooting, killing and demolishing without reason. Hard to follow and an effort to follow through. The other novel with similar names and TAK is much better: Desperation
