This an amazing start to a Cultivation series!
The speaker was chosen well and does a great work with distinguable voices without overdoing it!
The following review contains some small spoilers, so beware.







The story is realy interesting with a solid cultivation system though it is not to complicated or detailed, The characters are well made and have enough depth to engage you while not going on tangents where you are impatiently waiting to return to the MC.
There are some interesting twists that I didn´t see coming and well made without throwing the reader for a loop!

Lastly the isekai element is tackled in a novel way, that is quite intriguing!

Give it a read!!

I really like the story so far and will buy the second part of this series after writing this.
The story is not too complicated (some cultivator stories are) so I can do chores while listening to the good narrator. The narrator also has a soothing and very pleasant voice.

I really liked the premise of someone trying to discover the science behind cultivation and becoming powerful that way.... but somehow this turned into the mc stumbeling from revelation to revelation and people suddenly being granted knowledge miraculously.
Most of the time the mc has no clue what's going on but makes the right decisions. If he was supposed to be some form of idiot that was blessed by the heavens to be super lucky that would work I suppose.... but not when the whole premise of the book is a person obsessed with science and education.
Also... he's apparently been "the chosen one" all along....

Die Geschichte ist einfach schrecklich unglaubwürdig, das World building etwas planlos, die Witze schlecht platziert und die Charaktere etwas zweidimensional. Ich hab das Buch gekauft weils jemand mit beware of chicken verglichen hat. Nun, die parallelen sind da. Man könnte sogar meinen das der Autor BoC gelesen hat und eine Art Kopie machen wollte aber nicht verstanden hat wieso boc gut ist. Ich habe 400 Titel in meiner Bibliothek und gebe selten einen zurück. Diesen würde ich gerne zurück geben aber irgendwie weigert sich audible.
