Read this 1 year and 8 months ago and haven't drink alcohol ever since.. I was an alcoholic for 16 years..thank God for this amazing book . My life is amazing now..I could only recommend it

Life-changing book

This book isn’t about controlling alcohol but quitting. The author is proud of this deceiving title though it makes the book worthless for most people. It also uses many pointless arguments and exaggerations that are just ridiculous, and re uses some arguments from the cigarette book that make sense for cigarette but not for alcohol. Overall a huge waste of time.

If you actually manage to ignore the self praising, he does have some good points. But: it ist badly researched, unscientific and I don't actually believe he was really addicted, because he doesn't touch the subject of cravings or why people drink. There is much better quit lit around
