Weder das Audiobuch, noch die Story sind überragend, aber wer ein Shadowrun Fan ist (oder es werden will) wird das ignorieren und das Buch von vorne bis hinten genießen. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Read the Secrets of Power Trilogy 27 Years ago, when I started playing the Game and Loved it!! Can't wait to get my Hands on the next Part. I hope, there will be more of the great Books, I know from my Youth.... keep 'em coming.....please..?

Well, it‘s a story i knew, a book I read.
Good story, one of the first from that alternate universe of shadows, intrigue and treachery.
Narrator does a good job to bring the charakters to life.
And it‘s a good intro into Shadowrun. Have fun with it. I did.

Very relatable story with various twists and insights into different aspects of the world. Excellent voice acting. However, the audio quality is somewhat lacking.

Ist gibt einen guten Einblick wie die Welt von Shadowrun aus sehnen. Ich habe die deutsche Übersetzung anfangs der 90'er gelesen als ich damit angefangen habe Showrun zu Spieln. Ich war überrascht das es ein Hörbuch von dieser doch schon recht alten Serie gabe. Ich habe es genossen dem Sprecher zuzuhören und Freu mich schon auf die weiteren Bände. Für mich ist die Geschichte nicht eine der besten Shadowrungeschichten aber immer noch interessant zuhören.

I love the Shadowrun world. I enjoyed part 1. The narrator is good, even though the recording isn't free of free of tiny hick-ups. I will buy part 2.

knowing the book I was pleasantly surprised how good the voice actor shaped the characters. Even female voices were recognised despite the natural dark male voice. Very enjoyable. Will get the next one too.
