This Story focuses in one of the Side characters of pt.1 I Had great hopes, because he was so snarky and everything, but you absolutely neeeed a contrast characters (so that one ist the brooding and one the witty one). That was not the case here. And while we encounter a different "and Here are the very human problems people face when in love, because we are all human", theres also so very, very much horniness.
A bit of a drag, because I am asexual, and while it's all very thoughtfully written the Story falls a bit to the wayside unfortunately.

I love the Saint of Steel Series so far andhade high hopes for the books to come. The MCs are likably odd and not at all similar to the ones from the previous book. The narrator is amazing it the whole book went by way to fast

great story, perfectly read, but because of some descriptions it's not a good idea to listen to it while cooking it eating

I didn't like this one as much as the first one. But it was still very enjoyable! I enjoyed how the mystery was continued! Will continue with book 3!

T. Kingfisher has done it again! A delightful, though deep story of two people (and thank the saint they’re 36 & 40 respectively) who overcome outside obstacles, as well as their own inhabitants and fears. Also there are bears!!!! I love bears! <3 Kingfisher might be my favorite author of the year.
