A very interesting and funny twist on the old fairytale. Beaty didn't seemed to have fared quite as well as we where meant to believe, but luckily Bryony is a lot more grounded.

But in a new twist. I love Kingfishers tone and humor… both suit the story so well. Very entertaining.

This was such a quick and fun read! Fast paced and I enjoyed the banter. I had to get used to the narrator's male voice, but that didn't take too long.

It's a lovely retelling of an old story for modern times. However the reader doesn't to it justice. She's speeding through it, often without any emotion or proper intonation. I had to listen on 0.85 speed just to be able to follow. Too bad, the narration really spoils the book.
