After reading James Nestor‘s „Breath“, which also devotes an entire chapter to a comprehensive and user-oriented overview of a lot of what‘s mentioned here in this book, this quite technical work was rather a „let‘s see if there‘s something more worth mentioning“-read.
„Jaws“ to me seems ideal for people working in dentistry, orthodontics, sleep medicine etc - as well as upcoming parents (book shows a lot of care for communicating what to look for in one‘s child‘s health/behavior to then be able to seek the right medical advice/treatment and even prevent the need for such - all in the pursuit of a children‘s health and well-being). Other than that - just close your mouth with your tongue rested to the roof of it. And don‘t forget to chew more and deliberately. Cheers

The subject of the book is very interesting and surely warrants further research. However, much of the book is based on anecdotes and I am not sure how sound the evidence for the presented claims is. Also, it felt quite repetitive and not well organized to me.
