I really love this series, I habe listened to it a few times. It is one of my favorites, every time I get to the end I could SCREAM where is Angela’s Story that would be awesome!!!!!!

Und teilweise unerwartete Wendungen im 4. Teil der Serie.
Ich denke, dass eine Verfilmung (nicht nur des ersten Buches) mit der heutige Technik eine tolle Sache wäre. Wenn nicht, das Kopfkino funktioniert super, bei den detaillierten Beschreibungen des Autors.

it was so fun revisiting the series as an adult. watching eragon grow from a typical teenager to a truly strong and wonderful man, seeing him grow. I always felt a deep connection to this story. Mr paolini created such a vast, complex world with really fleshed out characters. strong female characters, people with motivations and deep inner worlds, realistic conflicts and a truly satisfying conclusion.
the narrator was really good, for the most part. in the first book the dragons voices felt kinda muppety and weird, but they got better over time. the only thing that really bugged me was the change in oric's voice, why does he sound like he had a lobotomy between book 3 and 4!?

Sprecher top. Vor allem die Stimmen der Drachen sind gut gesprochen.
Die Geschichte selbst bringt wie ich finde immerhin ein gutes Ende zu einer spannenden Serie.
Allerdings lassen Band 4 und vor allem Band 3 verglichen mit dem ersten Teil viele Wünsche offen.
Geschichte also eher "Mäh" vor allem der Teil um Roran, den ich in Band 2 eigentlich sehr gelungen fand.

Glad to see how the series came to a conclusion. Tense parts, hopeful. Appreciate how Paolini didn't shy away from making certain decision and not playing into all the clichés.
