Ein C. S. Lewis Klassiker, für welchen man nie zu alt wird
Es ist super die vollständige Chronik von Narnia in einem Hörbuch zu haben. Die Parallelen, welche Lewis mit diesem Werk zur Narrative des Christlichen Glaubens geschaffen hat, sind unvergleichlich im Bezug auf Tiefe, Intensität, Kreativität, Formulierungen, Erzählkraft und einfach diesen Wunsch tatsächlich in die wunderbare Welt von Narnia eintauchen zu wollen. (Wer die Bezüge zum christlichen Glaube versteht wird erkennen, dass dies in sogar besserer Form Realität sein kann)
Absolute Empfehlung.

Narnia is a delight - but sadly not reader!
I LOVE Narnia - truly! I was excited to find a Collection like this!
But while the 1st volume is great, the 2nd volume has a speaker that neither fits the story nor lets me enjoy the audiobook in any way shape or form. I had hoped that the first reader would read all volumes, but alas, that's not the case.
I thought I should warn people since It's not apparent based on the audio example that there are several different reader/narrators.
I haven't been able to make myself listen to more of volume 2 (which is a shame) because of the narrator, and I am dreading skipping this volume ... honestly, if it turns out that the same narrator is narrating some of the other volumes as well then I might cry (and return this collection, for then it is no collection at all!)
Fingers crossed that he only read one of the books and the other books have better narrators ...

Wonderful
I have looked for a copy of the Narnia Books on audible before and now found this. I read all the Narnia Books every couple of years because they are so very wonderful, but this was faboulus. Even the "Last Battle" which I find the weakest of all the 7 books, was wonderful. Read by Patrik Stewart .. what more can one wish for! Having this copy is as good as reading them oneself!

Fantasiewelt
a la CS Lewis. Man benötigt ein wenig Zeit, um sich mit den Charakteren anzufreunden. Ist das einmal geschafft, hört es sich schnell weg.

Strong recommendation
The way these books involve the reader always got me. For my children the exploration of the Narnia stories is quite fascinating. I strongly recommend the Books for people of every age.
The readers are really doing well and great.
Accusations about sexism and racism have been lenghtly discussed. In my opinion there is plenty of room to read (or hear) between the lines. So everyone can get out, what he wants to get. Trying to listen to the whole story without prejudice, I could find neither sexism nor racism.
Overall the Chronicles of Narnia is a must have on audible!

Spannende Geschichte
Super Geschichte für Jung und Alt, erzählt eine spannende-, fantasievolle-, tiefgründige Geschichte. Mann taucht förmlich mit in das Land Narnia ein. Gleichzeitig erklärt die Geschichte auf verständliche Art Gut und Böse....
Höre das Hörspiel gerne zum Autofahren.
Sehr gut verständliches Englisch.
Bin seht Positiv überrascht, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Fantastic story telling!
Such great fun for kids and grownups alike! Suspenseful and full of wisdom! I can recommend this collection of Barbie stories wholeheartedly!

Beautiful
While this book is not for cynics or people who only look to criticise, it is still one of my favourites. While the -mostly harmless- sexism of the times in which Lewis lived should not be ignored, it is still a beautiful story. I for one, cannot wait to read it to the next generation.
