ich verstehe die teilweise schlechten Rezensionen nicht- wer sich wirklich für die Welt von Alagäsia interessiert, den wird dieses Buch auch gefallen☺️ ich hoffe es gibt bald eine Fortsetzung dieser tollen Saga🐉

I know the title might be confusing. What I meant to say is that the story is really interesting but since it's supposed to be title 4.5 to the Inheritance cycle I expected there to be more "Inheritance Cycle type stuff". No spoilers ;)
The audiobook is mostly comprised of a tale about a specific race, along with another story about a rider and some sprinkles of Angela (which you might have guessed from the title). It's interesting in itself but not really part of the Inheritance cycle, although you find out about some very minor details post Inheritance.

Wouldn't recommend unless you can read it for free or are devoted to reading everything by Paolini. While nice in theory I don't think this collection of short stories did paolinis other work justice, though I'll admit the final story of the Worm came closest to it. It didn't feel as satisfying, but it wasn't outright bad.

Also while it is the same narrator as for the rest of the inheritance cycle, he changed some of the voices he did for characters, like Saphira, in previous books. It's not a bad voice but it messes with a feeling of consistency.

Schwache Fortsetzung der Eragon Reihe, die den Charmeder alten Bücher vermisst. Besonders dem Part über Angela fehlen die typischen Charakteristiken der Figur, die sie zu einem der Highlights der ursprünglichen Reihe macht. Die Haupthandlung des Buches würde in den alten Büchern höchstens als Lückenfüller zu finden sein und kann an Spannung in etwa mit der Beschreibung über die Auswahl eines neuen Schwertes für Eragon mithalten. Im Nachwort erklärt Christopher Paolini wie diese Geldmache zu STande kam und versucht sie als charmante Rückkehr zu verkaufen. Trotz allem gibt das Buch kleine neue Einsichten in die fantastische Weld die Paolini geschaffen hat und wird daher wahre Fans (mich eingeschlossen) zum Kauf zwingen. Doch um Angela zu paraphrasieren: Paolini gibt uns ein Rinnsal um den Durst nach neuem aus Alagaesia zu stillen, wo wir doch in einem Meer aus Informationen schwimmen und ertrinken wollen.
