If the main characters constantly win everything even if the odds are atleast 1 to 3, there is no more tension.
The main characters or/and the humans around them are so much more superior than their enemies, that i totally lost interest in the second book.
I hoped after the first one it will maybe have a turn, but nope, it is the same formular over and over again.
Do something you shouldn't do, win against greater numbers and repeat.
Everytime they lose 1 comrade while killing 50 enemies in return, it is the biggest drama. Sure it is someone they know, a friend, but the way it is put in perspective, is just i don't know "bad".
In this book series the tahni are so bad or inkompetent in war, that i don't understand their victories in the the other batlles where the main characters weren't part of.
I will not go for the other books.
Drop Trooper is the better series in that world
