Cute read
👉🏻 This is a perfect beach read. It doesn’t have a lot of drama or angst, but enough to move the story along. It’s not deep either, but a sweet story about two lovable characters.
♥️ The story is about a famous singer Sophie who loses her manager for many years because of a death. Due to her bad relationship with her family, more specifically her mother, he was a father figure to her. Her new manager is Dana, who is hired by Sophie’s record company. Of course, the two hit it off right away and a close friendship develops that eventually turns into something more. As time goes by, Sophie tries to figure out where she stands in life as a public figure. Meanwhile, Dana is caught up in her past and has to decide what she wants for her future.
💡 As mentioned at the beginning, this book is very shallow, with just a hint of drama. The main characters are likeable, the story is sweet and has a happy ending. So, what’s more to need?
