Was für eine Reise! Habe das Buch gerade beendet und weiß, ich werde es bald noch einmal hören. Der ruhige Erzählfluss und der klare, besonnene, aber auch bestimmte Stil des Autors haben mich sicher durch die miteinander verwobenen Lebensgeschichten der vier Protagonisten getragen, und ich gebe allen Freunden recht, die mich schon lange auf Wallace Stegner hingewiesen haben: was für ein großartiger Autor!
