There is lots and lots of action in this book. I enjoyed the plot, the new characters, and the old familiar ones from the other books.
But remind me not to go through the ring to settle on another planet myself ;)

Not a fan of the narrator, but once you get used to it, it's quite enjoyable. Story is at times a bit slow, the climax not as interesting as I hoped but my guess is, that it mostly sets up stuff for the next books.

man kann kaum auf den die nächste Wendung warten und es ist sehr gut gesprochen in klarem verständlichen Englisch und daher keine Schwierigkeit auf dem Weg zur Arbeit, oder abends daheim diesem Hörbuch zu lauschen.

It is way better than the last book. Less theology and more science-fiction. It makes you think on humanity

Overall a very good book, I liked it and got me hooked throughout. But at the end some stuff just remains unexplained. The book feels like rushed to completion. Or maybe just more topics to discover in the following books

Mir hat die Fortsetzung sehr gut gefallen. Auch wenn ich "it reaches out", jetzt nicht mehr hören kann. Auf zum nächsten Teil der Serie

Great story. I liked the narrator. At times the characters did some things I found slightly frustrating/unbelievable, but overall I definitely recommend it.

Enjoyable book

The begin was a bit slow for me but the story picks up soon. The twists are great and the science behind the world's ecology, the medicine and the physics are well researched, new and very interesting. Favorite of the series so far!!

Auch ein ein paar relativ eindeutige Parallelen zum dritten Buch bestehen, hat mich auch dieses sehr gefesselt... Obwohl ich die Serie gesehen habe!
