Eines der besten Business-Hörbuch, das ich bisher gehört habe
Hervorragend erzählt, perfekt gesprochen. Tony Fadell schafft es, seine persönliche Geschichte (… und ja, der Mann hat etwas geleistet) so zu erzählen, dass es spannend, inspirierend, lehrreich und unterhaltsam ist. Teils angenehm selbstkritisch, teils nachvollziehbar „Systemkritisch“, zeigt Tony, was ER aus Erfolg und Misserfolg gelernt hat — ohne zu behaupten, dass dies nun allgemeingültige Regeln für den persönlichen Erfolg seien. Auch wenn es hier hauptsächlich um Aufbau und Entwicklung von Unternehmen im amerikanischen Silicon-Valley-Style geht, regt mich dieses Buch auch nach 20 Jahren als Unternehmer zur ehrlichen Selbstreflexion ein.
Und abgesehen vom Inhalt, macht Roger Waynes klare, energische und mitreißende Art zu sprechen dieses Hörbuch zusätzlich noch zur Unterhaltung der besten Art.

Condensed experience expressed in a direct and honest manner.
I really liked the book, and will certainly return to it more than once. Tony Fadell condenses and generalizes his experience and describes in every detail the motivation for important decisions. The book resonates, and I would love to had read a book like that 20 years ago.

Really great and complete overview on challenges startup founders and leaders will face eventually
Sharing entrepreneurial and C-Level experience in the hardware+software tech startup world similar (but not to the extend) as the author, I can confirm Tony’s experiences by nearly 100%. This book provides a very helpful framework for recognizing, naming and solving the challenges that will eventually come to most founders. But it’s also really recommended for startup employees who want to know more about the wide range of tasks “the top” has to face besides having had a (great) initial idea for a product or service.
This book provides all of that in an exceptionally well structured, truly accessible yet entertaining way. Despite the fact its content is opinionated here and there and Tony writes very absolute in many points, this book is based on an outstanding set of experiences and speaks truth in many many ways. Highly recommended!

You need to listen to this more than once!
Definitely an eye opener! Lots of great advice and examples for different scenarios.

How to build for non-builders and new builders
The chapters, the pace and the storytelling is just great. You feel like in a Netflix mini-series where you want to binge-watch in one night. Everything flows, is exciting and has a lot of knowledge.

An urgent book for entrepreneurs on the making
