While war rages in Thameland, other battles begin.

With his first year complete, Alex Roth has made a discovery that could change his kingdom forever.

As the university prepares for an expedition to Thameland, Alex makes himself ready by growing stronger, taking summer courses on magic and spending time with his new friends and family.

But conspiracy brews in Generasi. Demonic attacks target the expedition, and as the city prepares for its annual Games of Roal, Alex must make sure that his own secrets don’t come back to bite him.

At least he has family and a new relationship to calm his nerves.

Until an unexpected visit throws his whole summer into disarray.

There is no rest for the wicked. Or foolish.

In the third book of the best-selling series, continue your fantastical journey into a coming-of-age magic-academy fantasy with a weak-to-strong progression into power, a setting inspired by D&D, detailed world-building, and magical science, action, comedy, slice-of-life, and GameLit elements.

The style and adventure are just as good as the first two books, however it feels like the story is tying up a lot of loose ends without moving forward a lot.
It could have been tagged onto book two and make it feel complete.
I’m looking forward to the continuation, the anticipation feels identical to the one felt at the end of book two however

It’s good but it feels like a filler book

Makes you want for the next Book

I am a little torn about this one. It is good. Very good I would say. The main problem is that the story does not really progress. It feels like a filler, but it is interesting nevertheless. There is a lot of world building and daily life description, that is all good. In the last book I was already a little mift, that they did not start the expedition and now they do not in this book either. I hope that the next book will go into this, otherwise I would be highly disappointed.
I think I do not need to say anything about Travis Baldree. He is performing on the highest possible level as always.

Die not want to miss it, but it is feeling like a

I like the characters in the book I like the trajectory that it is taking. But in all honesty it takes a little bit too much time to do all of those things I was really stoked for the expedition and the continuation off the main storyline as we both continue and it got more and more obvious but this was not going to happen I was slightly disappointed because this book transformed into more of a pure slice of life as its forebears. I still like the book and will buy the next one but if the next one does also barely anything for the continuation to the main plot I will probably stop listening to this serious.

I was hoping for more

Teil drei verfuehrt einen weiter in die Welt von Magie und Monster. Sowohl Story als auch Sprecher sorgen fuer Spannung!

Auch Teil 3 Too
