As the War for the Realm of Life continues, Lord-Castellant Lorrus Grymn leads the battered remnants of the Steel Souls warrior chamber against the sargasso-citadels of the Verdant Bay. The Hallowed Knights claim victory, but at a terrible cost - Grymn is lost to Realm of Chaos.

Now Gardus, newly reforged and fresh from the destruction of the Scabrous Sprawl, must lead his warriors into the foetid heart of Nurgle's realm in search of the Lord-Castellant, where they must once more brave the horrors of the Realm of Decay....

Great Story, hallowed knights are always fun, but together with gutrot spume and plague bearer-pirates... Realy one of the best audiobooks

Awesome

Great Characters, great atmosphere and overall a good story. The ending could have been darker but that does not really take away from the book. The speaker is also doing a great job creating a different voice for each character.

This made me like Age of Sigmar

It is greatly written and the reader is incredible.
The only critic I would give is that some fights just seem to be won too easy compared to others in the book. Sometimes the knights fight with great effort and suffering and then they just walk through an even bigger challange without a struggle.
But still, great book. Great story. Great reader.

Great!

John Banks with all his voices makes this story a living thing! Enjoyed every minute!

Only the faithful!

Had to stop listening to it after about an hour. The story is completely uninteresting...in fact have been waiting for some form of story to start. Same faceless "heroes" fighting the same opponents over and over again...

Just boring
