The story and writing is great, but I will prefer to read myself, as the speaker is impossible to listen to for me.

Great tory and writing, don't like speaker

The book strength of this (and all books of Ishiguro I have read) is the mood it evokes. Unfortunately, the speaker does it fit it at all, which made listening through it an absolute struggle. Do listen to the preview before buying - I would have left it.
