Der Sprecher ist sehr angenehm zuzuhören, die Geschichte schön geschrieben. Die Liebelei zwischen den beiden Hauptcharaktären steht zwar im Vordergrund aber schmiegt sich sehr gekonnt an die Geschichte an. Es gibt ein schönes hin und her schaukeln zwischen dem verkorksten latent homophoben/schwulen LAPD Cop Jake und Adrien, und der gruseligen Bedrohung die übernatürlich sein könnte... Oder ist? Auf jeden Fall eine sehr schöne Geschichte, die auch für heterosexuelle interessant sein könnte. Das grauenhafte Cover sei verziehen.

This is book 2 in the Adrien English series. I highly recommend the whole series (to be read in order), these are some of the "need to read"-books in the m/m genre. Josh Lanyon is an author who mangages to entertain without falling into stereotypes.

The narrator Chris Patton did such an excellent job that I'm definitely going to check out other books narrated by him.

Highly recommended but you need to listen in order because despite every mystery story is solved in each book, the relationship between Adrien and Jake spikes and crashes and survives over the whole series.

I already have read and reread the series on my kindle but I need to have them on audio, too. Yes, I think these books are so good.

I've already read the entire Adrien English series but since I couldn't get enough of the series, I'm giving the audio books a try, even though I haven't heard an audio book that I really liked before. Apart from one narrated by Sean Bean which is why I thought audio books were forever ruined for me cause Sean Bean is awesome.

I was wrong.

Chris Patton does a wonderful job with the Adrien English series!
Not only is Riordan's even better than I imagined it to be, but the intonation of every single sentence is just perfect!
Chris Patron really enhances the Adrien English experience!!

also ich bin sicher gerade auch etwas betrunken, aber irgendwie springen die von einem Punkt zum nächsten ohne den Zusammenhang zu erwähnen. der Typ ist gerade im Krankenhaus, keine Ahnung wie der da hin gekommen ist, und dann ist der plötzlich wieder auf dem Berg wo wohl jemand gestorben ist was ich aber auch nicht wirklich mit bekommen habe .... also echt kein plan was das gerade passiert, ist aber wohl ganz nett. kann man mal hören - denke ich
