An MM romance story of survival, healing, and finding the courage to love.

Harper Reid has no money and nowhere to go, but he can't spend one more day under the same roof as his abusive boyfriend. Reily, der trotz seiner positiven und lebensbejaenden Art Schwierigkeiten mit seiner Blindheit hat, und Harper dem so so viel Selbstwertgefühl durch seine toxische Beziehung genommen wurde und wie sie sich gegenseitig wieder aufbauen, wird von den Sprechern und ihrer Performance unterstreichen. Die beiden haben wundervolle Arbeit geleistet, das Audiobuch mit den richtigen Gefühlen zu unterstreichen.

ich habe schon das Buch gelesen und jz das audiobook. ich bin baaf. die Sprecher bringen so viel Emotion rein, dass ich es straight hätte durchhören können, wenn ich genug Zeit am Stück hätte.
Die Story im allgemeinen war immer ein großer comfort, weil sie von healing erzählt und ich absoluter fan davon bin. Dass es Hoffnung gibt und es besser werden kann.

I loved the characters, especially Riley. Such a nice love story. Not my favorite narrators, but it somehow fits the characters. Will definitely listen to it again.

I am extremely rare to give 5 Stars to a book. Usually a okay book will get 3 stars from me. In my personal library I've got 5 books I've rated 5 stars. Now it's six.
As a survivor of domestic violence myself I was very wary going into this, but I was not let down.
Every topic is handed very respectful and the struggles are not sugar coated. I really appreciate that. I cried a few times, I giggled and laughed and really enjoyed the rest. The narrators really did a good job. I will definitely revisit this story.

…than the book. I loved the book already, but both the narrators are outstanding here.
Iggy Toma gives this funny spin to Riley I missed while reading the story. Since the story is so heavy it’s really great to have little buried of fun throughout.
